Welcome to Hamilton North Muslim Community

 إِنَّمَا يَعْمُرُ مَسَاجِدَ اللَّهِ مَنْ آمَنَ بِاللَّهِ وَالْيَوْمِ الْآخِرِ وَأَقَامَ الصَّلاةَ وَآتَى الزَّكَاةَ وَلَمْ يَخْشَ إِلَّا اللَّهَ فَعَسَى أُولَئِكَ أَنْ يَكُونُوا مِنَ الْمُهْتَدِينَ.

Hamilton North Muslim Community (HNMC) was established with a clear purpose: to build and sustain a masjid that serves as a true house of Allah for our community, a place of prayer, remembrance, and belonging for generations to come.

We are guided by the words of Allah in the Qur’an, who praised those who maintain His mosques: “Only he shall maintain the mosques of Allah who believes in Allah and the Last Day, establishes prayer, gives charity, and fears none but Allah, it is they who are rightly guided.” (Surah At-Tawbah, 9:18)

Our primary objective is to establish a permanent home for Hamilton North’s Muslims, one built through sincere effort and the generosity of our community, in the hope of the reward promised by the Prophet ﷺ, who said that whoever builds a mosque for the sake of Allah, Allah will build for him a house in Paradise.

HNMC exists to serve this community: through prayer, learning, and the ongoing care of this masjid, now and for the generations after us.
